OUR STORY

Built to support the people behind every case.

Lawabet is a legal process outsourcing and paralegal-support service created for law firms, attorneys and corporate legal teams in the U.S. and India that need dependable help with the work surrounding their matters. Legal practices balance client communication, case files, deadlines, records, research, drafting, discovery and day-to-day administration. When these responsibilities accumulate, they can reduce the time attorneys have available for strategy, advocacy and client care.

Our role is to provide a distributed legal workforce that complements the skills of attorneys, paralegals, legal operations professionals and corporate legal teams. Support may be delivered for discrete tasks, recurring workflows or broader engagements depending on the approved scope. We aim to fit into established processes rather than impose a rigid, one-size-fits-all model.

Every engagement begins with a structured conversation about work type, jurisdiction, source materials, tools, volume, deadlines, confidentiality, deliverables and review responsibilities. The scope is aligned with your instructions and confirmed before work begins. Lawabet supports clients in India and the United States, with service models tailored to each engagement and the client’s operating requirements.

OUR PURPOSE

Mission, vision and values

A practical service relationship built on trust, communication and accountability.

01 · OUR MISSION

Make legal support easier to manage

Provide reliable, well-organized and cost-conscious legal-support services that help attorneys manage workload, maintain visibility and focus on client matters.

02 · OUR VISION

Become a trusted extension of the firm

Build long-term working relationships with law practices that value consistent processes, confidentiality, responsiveness and carefully defined service standards.

03 · OUR VALUES

Do the work with care

Act with integrity, respect confidentiality, communicate clearly, follow documented instructions, check details and take responsibility for agreed deliverables.

WHAT WE SUPPORT

Practical assistance across the matter lifecycle.

Depending on the engagement, support may include client intake administration, medical and other record organization, document indexing, chronology preparation, legal research support, drafting and formatting assistance, discovery coordination, case-file maintenance, deadline tracking and routine matter administration.

We confirm service availability and the exact deliverables before accepting work. Some matters may require additional instructions, specialist qualifications, jurisdiction-specific review or separate arrangements.

02
Organized workflow

04
Flexible capacity

Professional boundaries and attorney supervision

Lawabet provides support services; it does not replace the judgment, duties or professional responsibilities of the client firm's licensed attorneys. Legal strategy, legal advice to the firm's clients, court appearances, jurisdiction-specific decisions and final approval remain with appropriately licensed counsel. Work is carried out under the firm's instructions and supervision where required.

Confidentiality and information handling

Before confidential or sensitive information is shared, the parties should agree on appropriate access, transfer methods, permitted use, retention and return or deletion requirements. Clients should use approved channels and avoid sending privileged case materials through a general enquiry form. Any security, privacy or contractual requirements specific to a matter should be discussed and documented before commencement.

Quality, communication and accountability

We aim to make each engagement easier to manage through written instructions, agreed turnaround expectations, status updates and review checkpoints. When a task is unclear or the available materials do not support completion as requested, the appropriate next step is to seek clarification rather than make unsupported assumptions. Feedback can be incorporated within the agreed scope and process.

Engagement options

Depending on the nature and volume of work, the parties may discuss hourly support, monthly workforce support, monthly arrangements or a separately scoped project. Pricing, availability, turnaround times, revision expectations and service limits are confirmed in writing before work begins; a quote is not a commitment until accepted by both parties.

Who we work with

Our intended clients are law firms, attorneys and corporate legal teams in the U.S. and India seeking assistance with legal-support workflows and practice operations. Requirements differ by practice area and matter type, so we review each request individually and confirm whether it fits our available services before accepting it.

HOW WE WORK

Structured delivery, clear responsibility

01 / DISCOVERY

Understand the workflow

We map the task, practice area, jurisdiction, source materials, tools, volume, expected output and decision points before proposing a delivery model.

02 / SCOPE

Agree responsibilities

Each engagement defines deliverables, exclusions, timelines, communication channels, pricing, access permissions and the client's review and approval responsibilities.

03 / DELIVERY

Prepare and quality-check

Work is completed against documented instructions, checked against agreed criteria and returned through the agreed handoff process, with issues escalated when information is missing.

OUR SERVICE COMMITMENTS

Confidentiality, accuracy and practical accountability

Legal work depends on dependable information handling, consistent document practices and clarity about who is responsible for legal decisions. Lawabet uses engagement-specific instructions and access arrangements to support controlled workflows. Clients should share only the information necessary for the agreed task and use approved transfer methods for sensitive materials.

  • Confidentiality: handling expectations and permitted access are defined for each engagement.
  • Quality controls: deliverables are checked against agreed instructions, formats and completeness criteria.
  • Attorney and client supervision: legal advice, legal strategy, final approval, filings and professional judgments remain with the responsible licensed professional or client team.
  • Transparent scope: fees, turnaround, assumptions, exclusions and change requests are documented before work starts.
  • Continuous improvement: recurring workflows can be reviewed for consistency, reporting and process efficiency.
